2012 Scripture and Hermeneutics Seminar: A Manifesto For Theological Interpretation
November 16th, 2012
Theological interpretation is now in vogue as the many books and series confirm. Yet it remains unclear just what it is and what direction/s it should take. Working with an ecumenical cast of authors The Scripture and Hermeneutics Seminar is working on "A Manifesto for Theological Interpretation" (Baker Academic) with chapter expositions of each section. In Chicago we will unveil the draft of the Manifesto and begin a wide ranging discussion about this important development in biblical studies. We invite you to join us in this vital discussion.
Contributors: Craig Bartholomew, Stephen Dempster, C. Stephen Evans, Mark Gignilliat, Mike Goheen, Scott Hafemann, David Hogg, Paul House, Matthew Levering, Murray Rae and William Ollhausen, Angus Paddison, Jonathan Pennington, Heath Thomas, Chris Wright.
